Before Entering the hot tub
It is very important to take a shower before entering the pool. Washing removes deodorants, perfumes, cosmetics, and sunscreen from the skin. This helps keep the water clearer for longer, makes water maintenance easier, and significantly reduces the need to clean the filters.

Water Disinfection and pH Adjustment
The water in an outdoor hot tub can be effectively disinfected either with chlorine or chlorine-free alternatives such as oxygen tablets. Always check the exact dosage of the chemical you are using on the packaging.
The water’s pH value should be kept between 7.2 and 7.6. Measure the pH regularly using, for example, 3-in-1 test strips or a chlorine/oxygen tester.

Filter Cleaning
Clean the fiber filter thoroughly every 2–4 weeks using a special filter cleaning agent or cleaning spray. It is recommended to use two fiber filters alternately, so that one is in use while the other is drying and being cleaned.
ABC of Water Maintenance
Measuring and Adjusting the Water’s pH Level
The pH level affects water cleanliness and the effectiveness of chemicals. Check the water’s pH level regularly and adjust it if necessary using pH Plus or pH Minus granules. First dissolve the granules in water according to the package instructions and check the new pH level after half an hour.
Using Water Treatment Products
Chlorine granules must always be dissolved in water before being added to the pool. Chlorine tablets or oxygen tablets are added directly into the pool’s filter housing or chemical dispenser. Always follow the instructions on the packaging.
Common Problem Solutions
Cloudy water may be caused by a dirty filter, incorrect pH level, insufficient disinfection, or water that is too old. Clean the filter, adjust the pH level, and add disinfectant if necessary.
A musty smell is usually due to a too low pH level, excess organic matter, or inadequate water maintenance. Measure and adjust the pH level, add disinfectant, or change the water if needed.
Scaling is caused by high calcium content in the water or an incorrect pH level. Adjust the pH level and clean the surfaces of the pool. If the problem persists, replace the water.
Foaming is typically caused by cosmetic products that have entered the water from the skin or an incorrect pH level. Wash your skin thoroughly before entering the pool, adjust the pH level, and change the water if necessary.

Changing the Water in an Outdoor Hot Tub
1. Pipe Cleaning: Add pipe cleaner according to the instructions and let it work overnight.
2. Power Off: Turn off the power to the hot tub.
3. Draining the Tub: Conveniently drain the water using a submersible pump.
4. Cleaning the Tub: Clean the surfaces of the tub with a dedicated hot tub cleaner and a lint-free cloth. Treat the acrylic surface with a special hot tub care wax.
5. Refilling the Tub: Fill the tub through the filter housing, install a clean filter, and turn the power back on.
