Outdoor hot tub ready to use in no time – it’s that easy!
Here’s how effortless it is to install an outdoor hot tub: place the tub in position, fill it with water, and enjoy! A Novitek outdoor hot tub is always delivered upright and ready to use, but before it arrives, it’s important to ensure a level and frost-proof base. Once the foundation is set, the installation is a breeze.

Proper groundwork ensures worry-free bathing moments
To enjoy your outdoor hot tub without worries, the foundation must be solid. A level, stable, and frost-proof base ensures that the tub remains steady and operates flawlessly year after year. Once the base is set, you can focus on relaxing in the warm, bubbling water.
Make sure the surface beneath the tub is structurally uniform and can withstand the full weight of the tub without shifting. Also, remember to leave about 50 cm of unobstructed space around the tub so the side panels can be removed if needed and maintenance tasks can be carried out effortlessly.

How to safely move the tub into place
How to safely move the tub into place
A Novitek outdoor hot tub is always delivered upright and well protected. Before turning the tub to its proper position, carefully remove the packaging plastic and cardboard, as well as any accessories that may be inside the tub. Do not use sharp objects to open the packaging to avoid damaging the tub.
Depending on the size of the tub, moving and positioning it requires about 4–6 people. When the move is done in a controlled manner, placing the tub into position is safe and effortless.
Filling and commissioning the outdoor hot tub
Once the tub has been unpacked and moved into place, it’s a good idea to clean the interior surface before filling it. We recommend wiping all surfaces thoroughly with a cleaning agent and a lint-free cloth.
Always fill an empty outdoor hot tub through the filter housing. This prevents air locks and ensures that no air remains in the piping or pumps, which could interfere with water circulation. It’s also advisable to add water via the filter housing, as this makes it easier to support the garden hose in place.
Remember, the outdoor hot tub must always be filled with water before it is connected to power. This ensures that the pumps and heating system function properly right from the first use.

First Use of the Hot Tub
You can take your first dip in warm, bubbling water about 24 hours after installing the hot tub. Heating time depends on weather conditions, water volume, and the tub’s heating power – the water typically heats up at a rate of 0.5–1.5 degrees Celsius per hour.
Hot Tub on the Terrace – What to Consider?
Dreaming of a hot tub on your terrace? There are a few important things to consider to ensure the tub integrates seamlessly with your deck. The outdoor hot tub can either be placed on top of the terrace or recessed into a specially made opening. In both cases, it’s crucial to ensure sufficient load-bearing capacity and access for maintenance.
1. Outdoor Hot Tub on Top of the Terrace
If the hot tub is installed directly on the terrace, make sure the structure can support the combined weight of the tub, water, and bathers. All Novitek outdoor hot tubs are suitable for terrace installation, and for maintenance, it’s enough to leave unobstructed access to all sides of the tub.
Stairs make getting into the tub safer and more comfortable. You can choose ready-made spa steps or build them yourself to match the terrace design.
If the hot tub also includes an additional heater, two separate cables must be routed to the tub. The extra heater must be connected simultaneously with the rest of the electrical installation. The electrical connection for the extra heater must also be protected by a residual-current device (RCD).
2.Recessing the Outdoor Hot Tub into the Terrace
If you want to recess the outdoor hot tub into the terrace, it’s important to consider the depth of the recess and access for maintenance. The optimal recess depth is about 40 cm, allowing easy entry and enough space for servicing. Novitek’s factory-installed recessed paneling allows for installation without separate service hatches.
Without recessed paneling, service hatches must be built into the terrace. These should be placed at each removable panel and be at least 50 cm wide.
With careful planning, the hot tub blends beautifully into the terrace, turning your outdoor space into a perfect place to relax.
